With the official opening of EXPO 2015, the network of the most beautiful italian gardens invites you to discover kitchen gardens, vineyards and orchards in 11 regions of Italy, Switzerland and Vatican State also during summer!
“100 Gardens for EXPO 2015” is a tour through the most beautiful ornamental and vegetable gardens in Lombardy, the Canton of Ticino in Switzerland, Vatican State and other eleven Italian regions. With our special project you can discover the beauties of the landscape, the best gardens open to the public, as well as the most typical and indigenous cultivations, from Northern to Southern Italy. During the Milan Expo 2015 you can visit more than 120 ornamental gardens, kitchen gardens and orchards making up a new tourist network, conceived to promote and make known one of the country's least familiar features: the ‘Formal Italian Garden', among the most important ‘made in Italy' icons in the world.
