Celebrating Halloween in the great Italian gardens

Trick or treat night is back and the Grandi Giardini Italiani are preparing to welcome little visitors and their families with a series of workshops and fun activities.

The origins of the term Halloween can be traced back to the Scottish variant of All Hallows' Eve, the eve of All Hallows' Eve, the night between 31st October and 1 November, marked by the Celtic festival of Samhain, which celebrated the end of the summer. Today Halloween has lost its connotation as an agricultural holiday and is mostly known for its macabre and commercial forms. In this capacity it established itself in the United States in the 20th century and from there it also conquered European territory and with it Italy. So here too, All Hallows' Eve is now known as trick-or-treat night and is the joy of children.
