In the Name of the Rose
To the Rose, the queen among the flowers, who has always marked the most romantic moments of life, Grandi Giardini Italiani, the network of the most beautiful gardens that can be visited in Italy, dedicates an itinerary to the rose: In the Name of the Rose .
Every year, in the months of May and June, Grandi Giardini Italiani promotes the visit of gardens selected from its circuit, as an opportunity to get to know or rediscover important collections of ancient and modern roses.
In Nome della Rosa is a journey to discover the most beautiful visitable rose gardens in Italy, which boast important collections of roses that draw mazes, such as that of the Castle of the Roses of Cordovado (Cordovado, PN), avenues flowery, such as the Viale di Rose of the Parco Giardino Sigurtà (Vialeggio sul Mincio, VR), or in the shape of an angel wing, such as the Roseto Vacunae Rosae (Roccantica, RI), just to name a few .
In Nome della Rosa is a special invitation to discover the romantic and extraordinary blooms of roses within the circuit of the Great Italian Gardens, following its flowering cycle, different from region to region.
From this year on Nome della Rosa is also an itinerary to discover the Rosa Grandi Giardini Italiani® a bush rose, large flower, with erect bearing, dense and dark green foliage, very resistant to diseases. La Rosa wants to be a souvenir, an olfactory memory of a day spent in a network garden.
