On Sunday, May 18, the Park of Malingri Castle in Bagnolo (Bagnolo, TO) will open its doors for a special event dedicated to the blooming of azaleas and rhododendrons. Immersed in the natural beauty of the park, visitors will be able to stroll through vineyards, meadows and woods until they reach the castle and admire the enchanting surrounding landscape.
The walk will be punctuated by the evocative sounds of Tibetan bells, and a quaint traveling market will be set up in the park for the occasion.
Parco del Castello Malingri di Bagnolo, listed among Piedmont's historic parks, is particularly alluring in May for the blooming of the large bushes of rhododendrons and azaleas that create patches of color at the foot of the majestic trees.
Created in the late 17th century as a formal park and redesigned in the early 19th century in the romantic style of English parks, it has always been especially loved and pampered by the Malingri Countesses. Over the past 40 years, the current owners Aimaro and Consolata Oreglia d'Isola, following the family tradition, have taken special care of the landscape/pictorial aspect with the intention of always having different color effects according to the seasons and blooms.
Come and discover it!
