This event, organized by the Fondazione Casa della Divina Bellezza of Forza d'Agrò (ME), will be held at the Fondazione La Verde La Malfa - Parco dell'Arte and represents yet another occasion in which the two Foundations meet to embark on a common path.
The historian and art critic Giorgio Agnisola, professor emeritus at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Southern Italy - San Luigi Section, will therefore be the protagonist of the fourth appointment of the Casa della Divina Bellezza Foundation journey, “Silence and Martyrdom”.
The conference will give the scholar from Campania the opportunity to talk about art that invites silence and to share his reflections on a series of photographs by Alfredo La Malfa that are part of a new exhibition that has the same title as the meeting, “Silence and Light”, and will also be inaugurated during the evening of April 27.
“Silence and Martyrdom” will accompany us throughout 2025, a special year given that it is that of the twenty-fifth Ordinary Universal Jubilee of the Catholic Church.
The event on April 27th also represents the occasion to visit the Fondazione La Verde La Malfa - Parco dell'Arte and admire the works of art it houses.
